Most of the work in this gallery is wheel-thrown, and a some is hand built. I have been experimenting with colored porcelain clay bodies, texture by pressing patterns into the clay and carving into the pieces at the leather-hard stage, then adding initial color with underglaze. All items are glazed using medium to high fire glazes, and some are embellished with 23K & 24K yellow and white gold lusters, or other iridescent lusters as overglaze (a 3rd low fire process)
