I threw this small-footed white porcelain bowl on the wheel, trimmed it on the wheel then added little feet to the bottom. I carved the pattern at the leather-hard stage and applied underglaze to the incisions. The bowl was bisque-fired and then glaze-fired twice more to add high gloss to the outside and inside and a weird floaty finely foamed red treatment on the inside.
