METAL & CLAY
Every piece of jewelry begins as a hand-carved wax model before being cast in recycled gold, sterling silver, or brass. I work exclusively with ethically sourced or vintage gemstones, and produce my collections in small editions. The designs draw inspiration from nature, animals, and a sense of nostalgia.
My ceramic work encompasses both hand-built and wheel-thrown forms in richly tinted porcelain. Each piece is carefully layered with underglaze and high-fire glaze, then finished with luminous low-fire precious metal lusters. Designed to hold jewelry and small treasures, these porcelain works are equally striking as standalone objects.
Each item is crafted by hand in my East Village home studio. Jewelry casting takes place in New York City’s Jewelry District, while my porcelain pieces are fired at a studio in the historic Old American Can Factory in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
The works shown in this gallery represent the type of pieces I typically offer at craft shows.
