I threw this porcelain vessel on the wheel, trimmed it on the wheel, then carved the pattern at the leather hard stage and applied underglaze to the incisions. The piece was bisque-fired and glaze-fired to add a layer of translucent aqua high gloss celadon to the outside and over the top of the dark green underglaze inside.
